2013 was a stellar year for Kush, the highlight of which was becoming the first ever Indian to attend the Grand Gala Awards Ceremony after his performances at the WSK Masters Series in the 60 Mini class. Kush managed to bag 2 podiums and a win and a second place sealing second overall in the championship. Kush followed this up with a move into the KFJ class, during the second half of the year, which yielded a further vice-championship with a second overall in the KF Euroseries category.
Kush also partially competed in the J.K.Tyre Rotax Junior Max National Championship, where at the age of 12 became one of the youngest participants in the class. Kush ended up winning 2 out of the 3 races he took part in.
Kush followed up his 2013 Mini campaign with a full time move into the KFJ class for 2014. After a difficult few months, Kush's efforts ultimately culminated in 4th overall at the CIK-FIA World Karting Championship held at the Essay racetrack in France.
His J.K.Tyre Rotax Max campaign however was a mixed bag . Overall he managed 2 wins and was awarded trophies for the most number of pole positions and fastest laps for the junior category.
